Trying something new

I was in the mood today for something spicy and healthy. Normally, the using both words in a sentence is forbidden. However, while digging my in freezer I found black bean burgers. In the fridge door, I found Walkerwoods Jamaican Jerk BBQ sauce. I tried a new combination and enjoyed it. What daring combination will I try next? Stay tuned.

Leaders

I wake up this morning reflecting on a simpler time, the college years. A time full of ideas on how we, the future leaders of tomorrow, were going to impact the world. Looking around, great strides were made over the years by many --raising families, social activism and even "The Apprentice" winner.

Now we are the leaders to influence policies, sitting in boardrooms and shaping the future generations. As we move forwards, my hope is that we look deeper and harder to make this world a better place, one individual at a time.

That time of year again

As I look at the rear view mirror, where did summer go? If you were like me, keeping busy overshadowed the hot sticky afternoons and cool moist mornings. Unlike previous years, this summer served a greater meaning. I spent ample time on building new levels of my "life experience" slowly putting older one on the shelf. As the universe does, I had to take "two steps back" and revisit. I must admit at the onset, i cautiously took those steps. In the end, I learned those two steps where need for me to sprint forward in life.

As fall is staring me in the face, i wonder what new adventures, challenges and surprises the beautiful life possess? Yes, i said beautiful. Any day that i wake up, take a breath and see God's creations is a beautiful day.

Still on the fence about the iPhone? This is my story.

Today started off like most days. Wallet, keys, iPhone -- check. I started on my way up the highway. No more than 45 minutes on the road, my car alerts me there is an issue. Several hundred miles from home, I thought quickly and grabbed my iPhone. I started the Google App to searched for a dealership and mapped the address. I took a picture of the issue for my records. As I arrived to the dealership, I looked up my service record to show the service advisor. As I was late for a meeting, I rescheduled my meeting via the calendar app and texted my clients to confirm receipt. Need less to say, my iPhone saved my day.

Where's the sand?

As the wind gently whispers, the oceans sings sweet melodies. These are the sounds that surrounded me the past few days. As I could not venture across the ocean, only one place on the mainland has that effect: Miami. As I sat under the warm, vibrant sun, sipping on lemonade, i see the clear blue water crashing on the soft coastline. I say to myself, "this is the life." (pictures to follow)

iPad

I picked ip my iPad this weekend, and I was not disappointed. This is the email/web browser/multimedia player/digital frame/social media tool. I most impressed with the performance speed. More to follow....
